2011 Internship Program Golf Outing Fundraiser A Success
Columbus, Ohio - Professional Insurance Agents Association of Ohio, Inc. (PIA) held its annual Internship Program Golf Outing Fundraiser yesterday, at Rattlesnake Ridge Golf Club in Sunbury. The golf outing is held each year as the key fundraising event for both PIA's Internship Program and the Foundation for the Advancement of Insurance Professionals. Surpassing last year's efforts, the outing raised $32,580 to support and develop the future of the independent agency system.
 
 
PIA Kicks Off the 2011 Internship Program
Columbus, Ohio – Professional Insurance Agents Association of Ohio, Inc. (PIA) Internship Program introduced 11 new college students to the independent insurance agency system this week. The internships kicked off with a two-day orientation to welcome the interns and familiarize them with their company and agency hosts before they begin work next week.
 
 
PIA's Foundation for the Advancement of Insurance Professionals 2010 Annual Report Now Available
Columbus, Ohio - Professional Insurance Agents Association of Ohio, Inc. (PIA) has made available the 2010 Annual Report for the Foundation for the Advancement of Insurance Professionals. The foundation is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of internships, programs, and grants that will enhance the insurance industry, and promoting the insurance industry as a desirable career choice for college students.
 
 
PIA’s Annual Internship Program Golf Outing Fundraiser A Success
Columbus, Ohio – Professional Insurance Agents Association of Ohio, Inc. (PIA) held its annual Internship Program Golf Outing Fundraiser June 14, at Rattlesnake Ridge Golf Club in Sunbury. The golf outing raised nearly $31,000 to benefit the Foundation for the Advancement of Insurance Professionals, which was established in 2009 to support the development and implementation of PIA’s Internship Program.
 
 
Stolly Honored With PIA Excellence in Leadership Award
Columbus, Ohio – Timothy Stolly, CPCU, LUTCF, CIC, of Stolly Insurance, Inc., in Lima, was the recipient of the Excellence in Leadership Award by Professional Insurance Agents Association of Ohio, Inc. Stolly received this award today at PIA of Ohio’s Annual Business Meeting and Awards and Conferment Ceremony, held in conjunction with PIA’s 2009 Agency Management and Profitability Conference, Sept. 24-25.
