Mike serves as the Executive Director of Live Oak Bank. He joined Live Oak with more than 25 years in the insurance industry. He has held positions as a claim adjuster, commercial producer, personal and commercial lines marketing manager, territory manager and the head of a large multi-state agency. Prior to Live Oak, Mike served as branch vice president of CNA Insurance Companies for the state of Ohio.
Sydney Roe • Agency Digital Marketing and Social Media Presence
Sydney is the Digital Content Manager for TrustedChoice.com and a contributor for Agency Nation. She's also a licensed Florida insurance agent who is currently trying to survive the 20-degree Minnesota tundra. As a passionate advocate for the agency channel, Sydney is constantly working to help agencies learn how to make the internet work for them.

Bob Dodson • Panel participant
Bob is the Regional Vice President for Business Insurance at Liberty Mutual in Ohio. He manages both underwriting and distribution from their regional office in Cincinnati. He has been in the property and casualty business for 25 years, 21 of which with Liberty Mutual. Bob has held various management and executive positons in multiple states, and has been in Ohio since 2012. He is an avid outdoorsman and philanthropist in his community.

Pat Jackson, CPCU, MBA • Panel participant
Pat assumed the role of Regional Vice President of Central Insurance Companies in 2010 and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Central Regional Office including claims, commercial lines underwriting, personal lines underwriting and marketing.

Craig Welsh • Panel participant
Craig is the Group Distribution Leader for Westfield Insurance and is responsible for providing enterprise-wide distribution oversight, including the implementation of Westfield’s distribution strategy initiative. This initiative is an ongoing effort to create value in relationships with agencies strongly aligned with Westfield as well as the evolving expectations of customers. Craig joined Westfield in 1993 and most recently served as agribusiness division leader. Previously, he served as a regional leader in agribusiness and also held several field marketing and underwriting roles earlier in his career at Westfield.
